On the page you will find a proposed schedule for the day, including
information on:
1:30pm: Please arrive at least ten minutes prior to the start of the wedding. One of the ushers will be outside the cathedral to direct cars to the car park (see the directions page). Please sit on either side of the church, but leave the front two rows free for the wedding party. Bubbles will be provided instead of confetti. No confetti is allowed on the cathedral premises and we will be grateful if you could respect that.
2:30pm: After the service, the photographer will take a group photo of everyone on the steps of the Cathedral. Can everyone please gather on the steps and wait for this before travelling to Dalhousie. We would like to have everyone in this photo as a memory of the day. Travel to Dalhousie Castle
3:00-3:30pm: A welcome drink will be served in the Sir Alexander room/ outside depending on the weather. After arrival at Dalhousie, the photographer will take pictures of the bridal party at first but will then call for other family and friends to join us for some more photos. There is a bar in the library in Dalhousie Castle and there is also a bar in the function room where you can purchase alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages throughout the evening.

The vegetarian option is a mille-feuille of char-grilled vegetables, parmesan chips and a balsamic reduction. Can you please let us know if you require the vegetarian option as the chef needs to know the number of people wanting this in advance.

Midnight: For information about hotels near the cathedral or Dalhousie Castle, please see the hotels page. There is limited accommodation at Dalhousie Castle itself, but this is often booked up over a year in advance.
