Caroline Parkin and Nicola Scott
Bridesmaids

She is from Blackpool and stays 2 minutes walk from the Cathedral we are getting married in. Caroline and Elena met whilst studying medicine together in Edinburgh. Caroline will graduate in June 2004 and hopes to become one of the few female cardiothoracic surgeons in the near future.

Nicola is from Airdrie. The bride and her have known each other since they were about 8 years old. They met at the local dance class and, since the age of 10, went to the same school. Nicola studied psychology at Strathclyde and is now working towards her doctorate in clinical psychology at Glasgow. She is also planning her own wedding to Alex, one of the ushers.

MeganFraserCallum
Megan Coyle, Fraser Gordon and Callum Williamson
Flowergirl and Pageboys

Megan is our stunning flowergirl. She is 4 years old. She currently goes to nursery and will be starting school next year.
Callum is now at school. He is one of the pageboys- hopefully he will help the best man take care of our rings...
Fraser is Callum's younger cousin. He is also a pageboy. He will be 4 years old by our wedding. He will be in charge of our pieces of tartan... (it will make sense on the wedding day).

Tim Ribchester the Best Man
Timothy Ribchester
The Best Man. If he gets the right year for the wedding...

Tim is currently studying for a doctorate in music over in Philadelphia in the USA. He met the groom whilst studying in Oxford and was talked into conducting the Schumann Konzertstueck for four horns and orchestra by the groom and Paul Ryder, one of the ushers, on the first night of meeting them. I'm sure he'll fill you in on the rest of the story...

Paul Ryder, James Ross and Alex Robert Orr
Ushers

Paul Ryder is a french horn player and met the groom whilst playing in the many orchestras in Oxford. They played together many times, often with the best man playing as well and James Ross conducting.

James Ross is a professional conductor, and recruited the groom to play for one of his orchestras in Oxford. He has since convinced the groom to play and sing in a wide variety of places, and even managed to get him to play the deadly Wagner Tuba - not an easy feat!

Alex Orr is the fiancé of Nicola Scott, one of the bridesmaids, and met the groom in Glasgow on a night out. He plays electric guitar and sings in a band. He doesn't know it yet, but he will be directing traffic outside the cathedral.
